Baby In The Mirror

Madison loves to laugh and smile.

And she loves to look at herself in the mirror. Even during her grumpiest times, when I take in front of the mirror, she'll crack a smile or even a let out a giggle or 2.

She's going to love my jokes.

Flower Child

Maddie is getting big.  She loves bright colors, flashing lights and wearing sunglasses.

I think she's a hippie...

Little League All Stars

My dad is 'cleaning' out his garage and seems to think that my old baseball cards located in the far back corner of his attic is his biggest problem.  If you've seen my parents garage, it could easily be submitted for the tv show "Hoarders".  Old Shoes, Tires, Ski's from the 70's... you name it, it's in there and packed in like tetris.

For some reason, my dad only found the boxes of my baseball commons, none of the valuable stuff.  All the Babe Ruth rookies never showed...strange.

So my baseball cards were becoming the nuisance that's held up the cleaning process, only time will tell.  I was lucky enough to come across some huge collectors items within the boxes.  These cards made all the women go nuts in the early ninetys... still do.

The Oakland A's had the bash brothers.  We were the White Brothers.  Our team was good, I was horrible.  True story. My bestman Jakob was also on this team but I couldn't find his card, damn.

I also found my rookie card.  It's worth a lot of money... I have about 20 of them still in my posession, I will be rich.

As bonus coverage, I am also adding John Hook's baseball card.  He was on a competing team and they did steroids.  They will never make it to the baseball hall of fame.  Check out that signature.

Our hairstyles are great, don't you think?

4 Generations Of Craziness

Over the holidays, I was able to take a picture of 4 generations of Jacques family.  Madison's great Grandma, her Grandma and her Mom.

Wedding Cake Anniversary

After getting married, my wife insisted that we needed to keep the top of our wedding cake and eat it "for good luck".  What a crock of kaka poo poo.

This cake has been taking up real estate in my freezer a full year.  This space would be better used for frozen burritos, pot pies, and fish sticks. Without exageration, the box for the cake took up a good 1/3 of our freezer.

Today, we finally took the "good luck" plunge.

The cake on our wedding night.

The real estate it took up in my fridge.

The cake top one year later.  Appetizing right?

Jacque's 1 bite.

Glad we kept an old cake for a year.  Luck for entire year or bathroom for entire night? That is the question.

Happy Anniversary To My Wife Jacque

One year ago today, my wife and I got married.  I am still as happy as ever. Thanks Jacque for being an awesome wife and an amazing mother to our baby Madison.

This picture is from our sophmore year in high school.  We weren't dating back then, but I'm pretty positve that she wanted me.

Yes, she has still has my balls after 365 days.  At least they aren't blue.
Happy Anniversary Jacque.  Many more to come.
